Debating The Donald (A Warning)

We shouldn’t dismiss Trump as a debate opponent. True, he is not bright, and is always unfocused and full of BS and blatant lies; but he is exceptionally adept at loudly dominating the spotlight, deflecting, trying to intimidate, and being a know-it-all with a big mouth.

These extra-rational factors, I think, impress the hell out of many people. A debate is, after all, a kind of contest, and those of us who are more interested in contest outcomes than in ideas will delight in mere noise!
